Hi! I'm Josie!

I am a vinyasa teacher; I studied Baptiste power Yoga and received my 200HR certification through Power Yoga Works in 2014.

My practice started in NY about 10 years before that. I was practicing yoga; asana, pranayama, mindfulness, and self study, without knowing it. Over time my physical, emotional, and spiritual journey evolved. I would say the journey of motherhood and parenthood has transformed me the most.

In my practice, I focus on alignment and pranayama, and the rest of the the physical practice will flow from there. My class will always be accessible to all fitness levels with options to power up or relax more.

I always say, if you can breath, you can do Yoga. We are all on a journey and, at one time or another, our paths cross. I look forward to sharing practice with you at Mindful Elephant.

  • Join us for a peaceful, grounding flow to wind down from the week and ease into your weekend. Take time for YOU to recharge and reconnect. Peaceful music will accompany slow, mindful, Vinyasa-style movement.
    All levels welcome.
    Pace: Relaxed to Moderate

  • Gentle
  • A supported, soft, nurturing, and relaxed class with gradual transitions from one posture to the next. You'll have time to focus on your breath and find the range of motion that is best for you as you move through seated, standing and balancing poses. Blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps, and the wall are available to support you in your practice.
    All levels welcome.
