Hi! I'm Juli!
 
Yoga has inspired and empowered me to do things I never thought were possible in my life, and this is just one of the reasons why I'm so passionate about sharing the practice with others. My hope is that each and every student will connect with their best teacher (the voice within) during practice and find what they need within themselves to be all they want to be in life. I believe the physical benefits of strength, flexibility, etc. are the bonus of doing yoga, so I can carry around my inspired and enlightened self in a healthy body.

Some of the most memorable and transformative moments in my life occurred during my teacher training at Kripalu and every day I continue to be amazed by the healing power of yoga physically, mentally and spiritually.
 
In class I will encourage you to just do you. It doesn't matter what anyone else is doing, honor you. Yoga is an avenue for self-discovery and self-compassion, without judgement. Let's ride the waves of life together on our yoga mats!  


Juli Fussell instructs the following:
  • Mindful Flow + Meditation
  • Experience the balance, peace and self-awareness that a Mindful Flow can bring you. Emphasis is on meditation-in-motion that you create by connecting breath with movement, all while building strength, flexibility, and warmth in your body.

    Meditation (5 - 10 minutes) helps you find new ways to engage your life with experiences that teach, heal, & enhance everything around you.
     
    All levels welcome.
    Pace: Moderate

  • Kripalu Mindful Flow
  • Kripalu means being compassionate, and this style of yoga invites you to have an inward experience to enhance the ability to listen to your inner wisdom that guides you in the flow of life. Classes begin with an emphasis on being present in your body, sustaining a flowing breath and warming up. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance body, mind & spirit. The overall experience is one of learning to love and nurture yourself.

    All levels welcome.
    Pace: Moderate

  • Vinyasa
  • Energize and revitalize your body, mind & spirit! Vinyasa focuses on linking conscious breath with a flow of postures, like a beautiful melody sung through your body. You will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing your body and calming your mind. Options will be offered to make it a very active practice, or if you just need to chill out in child's pose the entire time, that's respected and loved by us!

    Pace: Brisk

  • Hatha + Meditation
  • Hatha is a traditional style of practice focusing on alignment in foundational postures. You’ll awaken self-awareness, and build strength and flexibility, by spending more time in each posture to witness the effects in your body, mind & spirit. 
     
    Meditation (5 – 10 mins) gives you the opportunity to listen to your inner wisdom and connect deeper with your true self.

    Pace: Moderate

  • Chair Yoga
  • A class designed for anyone interested in the benefits of yoga without having to sit on the floor. From a seated or supported standing position you will strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, practice balance, and experience breathing techniques to reduce stress and improve mental focus.

    Pace: Relaxed
